The lake of Guadalest a human build dam for fresh water supply of Benidorm and surrounding. Thanks to the rain in Spring 2020 the dam is full and the colour is amazing.

I personally love to go there, not many people and the water is a dream to take a swim. The drive from Altea takes around 20 minutes but it is worth to stop on the lookouts on the way up, there is also a bike museum and of course you will need to visit the town “El Castell de Guadalest” but that is for another video.
